The lion is drawn in fine white line work and it covers most of the front panel, mane and all. It is the only bag in the range where the graphic is the bag rather than a patch stuck on one.
Navy rather than black, which sits better against most school uniforms here than people expect, and the white line work reads clearly against it without being loud.
This is the one older children pick, roughly P5 upward, and it is genuinely unisex, which matters if a bag has to be handed down to a younger sibling.

Which size to take
Small suits nursery and lower primary, where the bag carries a lunch box and a book or two. Medium is where most primary children end up. Large is for upper primary and secondary, once there is a file and a water bottle as well. Come in and hold them against her back, it takes two minutes and it settles the question.
Looking after it
Sponge it down with soapy water and dry it in the shade. Keep it out of the washing machine, it pulls the padding out of shape and it never recovers.
