Black leather throughout with the grain left visible rather than sanded flat. A full width zip runs across the body and below it sit two separate buckle pockets, which is more useful than one wide one because keys and a phone stop finding each other.
The straps are the widest in the range and they are stitched through the back panel rather than riveted, which is the join that fails first on a loaded bag.

Choosing a size
Medium is the one that suits most people, it holds A4 without the books bending. Go small if it is mostly a going-out bag, go large if there is a laptop involved. We keep all three in the shop so you can try them loaded.
Looking after it
Wipe the leather with a dry cloth and work in a leather conditioner every few months. Spot clean the fabric only and do not soak it, the colours are vivid and they will run.
