This is the shoe most boys start school in. One wide velcro strap and nothing else to think about, which means a nursery or P1 child can get himself ready without an adult crouching at the door.
The strap runs almost the full width of the shoe, so the hold is even across the instep rather than pinching in one place. It has a long overlap too, which gives you a wider adjustment range than a buckle ever would as the foot fills out.

Sizing

Looking after them
